Challenge Quilt 2012

This is the picture I took of the Chihully glass balls in the old boat at the Desert Botanical Gardens. It is very similar to the photo we are supposed to replicate in a small quilt. You can see the background looks like "chenille". I am going to try printing out the boat and balls on my printable fabric. Then I will make the chenille background.
