here are some pix of a few words using the fabric pens....they bleed but i can go over it and clean up the edges....the fabric "moves" alot while you are writing so i will have to work in small areas...i am thnking maybe smaller pieces of fabric to start with but am not sure that would solve the creeping problem....i wonder if actual fabric paint and a wide brush would be better...am going to look out n the paint box for a jar of fabric paint and try that before i make up my mind...thoughts?

A couple of things you can try to stabilize the fabric.
(1) If you had stretcher bars you could staple it to, that might work.
(2) In lieu of stretcher bars, try taping fabric to table
(3) Try ironing the wrong side of fabric to shiny side of freezer paper.
