This is loosely based on a kit I bought at the Houston Quilt Festival. The picture shows the front and back of the panel. I'm going to put them together with batting between and then quilt through all layers. My intent is that the panel will hang on one side of the arched opening to the Living Room. It's about 3' wide and 7' long.I purposely made some of the sections wider than the pattern called for so that I could make one long edge irregular. The finished irregular edge will probably not hang out as far as is shown, but it gives me plenty to work with.
I have enough fabric left over to add one more floral stripe down the middle and make a traditional quilt out of it. That's the decision I'll be pondering this weekend.
